1. Down-Underland

Setting up: Camera, tripod, clean scratch-free DVD / CD with water droplets spaced out it (any way you like) and some coloured LED lights of all shapes and sizes.

The narrative begins:

Down-Underland is different from Australia, which is on the other side of the globe. Down-Underland lives in my imagination. It’s a flat illuminated disc scene as I look down, hovering above, bringing in some lighting and shoot some aerial views.

So, now it’s night time here in Down-Underland and you will notice that Eskom (our malfunctioning power utility) is playing a major part during different stages of the night. So, SSSHHH! Hush and observe with me.

Oh, I almost forgot. You will notice that every time you’re about to press the shutter button, a yet-to-be-identified-object comes flying in. I call it a multi-coloured-cellophane-taped-6LED object or DCCT6 object for short.
