2. Views of the Hoods

Stetting up: So, now we’re coming right down, lower your tripod, go macro, bring in some coloured lighting and shoot specific areas. Increase your f-stop to midrange.

The narrative continues:

We’re up close and personal now in Down-Underland neighborhoods crouching, zooming in and moving around different ‘hoods. You know the eskimos live in igloos. Igloos are made from ice-blocks.

But that’s not the case here in Down-Underland. These guys live in what I call: “droploos” or alternatively “blobloos”. Contrary to igloos made from ice, “blobloos” / “droploos” are made from water. That is if you can believe me.

Just remember, it’s night-time here and if the light looks dim, don’t blame me. It’s Eskom that forever threatens them: “We’ll blackout you if you don’t dim.”

Fortunately for us, there are no fences here like at airports and we can manage to get very, very close. Security? No, there is no crime here. So, the DCCT6s will be more intimidating as they come in zooming past, doing slow approaches like at airshows, spiralling, hovering; in fact any way they like. Don’t jerk up when you see them. They are absolutely harmless.

Now, even more than before, wherever you are: SSSSHHHHHH! Be quiet and observe!
